This is the story of Raunak Dahake, a courageous 2-year-old boy diagnosed with Thalassemia Major at just 3 months old. Since then, he’s been fighting his condition through regular blood transfusions and medications. However, these treatments are not a cure, and Raunak’s only hope for leading a normal life is through a Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) at SRCC Children’s Hospital in Mumbai under the care of Dr. Chintan Vyas.
The estimated cost for Raunak’s life-saving treatment is Rs. 33,63,000. The hospital has generously offered a 10% concession on the final bill, but the total amount is still far beyond what Raunak’s family can afford. His father, a humble farmer from Talegaon, Wardha, earns only Rs. 25,000 annually, and there is no other source of income. Raunak’s mother, his primary caregiver, is fully dedicated to his care. Despite their limited means, the family contributes what little they can with the help of relatives and friends.
The only sanctioned funding they’ve received is Rs. 12,00,000 from Tata Trust and Rs. 2,00,000 from CMRF Maharashtra, leaving them with a significant shortfall.
We are reaching out to you to extend your support to Raunak’s treatment kindly. Every contribution, no matter how small, will help bridge the gap and give this young boy a chance to live a healthy, happy life like any other child.
Your generosity can make all the difference. Together, let’s give Raunak a future filled with hope.
